If you already have leftover stuffing, just add cannabis butter and move to step 2!
6 hot dog buns cut into 1/2 inch pieces & separated
4 tabelspoons of cannabis butter
1 cup Medium-diced Sweet Yellow Onion
1/2 cup Medium-diced Celery (1 stalk)
1 Granny Smith Apple, Unpeeled, Cored and Medium-diced
1 Tablespoon Chopped Flat-leaf Italian Parsley
1/2 Tablespoon Kosher or Sea Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 Package of Spicy Breakfast Sausage
2 Cups of Leftover Turkey or 1/2 Package of Carved Turkey Slices Medium-diced
1/2 Cup Chicken Broth
1/2 Cup Dried Cranberries
2. Mashed Potatoes:
If you already have leftover potatoes, just add the cannabis butter and move to step 3!
2/3 Cup of Instant Mashed Potato Flakes
1/3 Cup of Milk
1/4 Teaspoon of Salt
1 Tablespoon of Cannabis Butter
2/3 Cup of Water
3. Egg Roll Wrappers:
1 Egg Beaten
8 Egg Roll Wraps
1 Tablespoon of Water
1 Can of Cranberries
2 Cups of Canola Oil
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
Recipe for Cannabis Infused Stuffing:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F
Step 2: Place hot dog bun pieces on a cookie sheet in a single layer and bake for 7 minutes. Once the bread becomes toasted raise the oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Transfer the breadcrumbs from oven to a a large mixing bowl.
Step 3: In a large saute pan, melt the cannabis butter, add the chopped onions, celery, apples, parsley, turkey, 1/2 tablespoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper. Saute over medium heat for 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened, and onions golden. Remove from pan and add to the large mixing bowl containing the breadcrumbs.
Step 4: Using the same saute pan, cook the sausage over high heat for about 7-10 minutes, until the sausage is browned and cooked through, breaking up the sausage with a spatula or fork while cooking. Do not drain. Add sausage to bread crumbs and vegetables.
Step 5: Add the chicken broth and cranberries to the mixture, mix well, and pour into a 9 x 12 baking pan. Bake for 30 minutes, until browned on top and hot in the center. Let cool.
Recipe for Cannabis Infused Mashed Potatoes:
Step 6: Heat 2/3 Cup of Water, Tablespoon of Cannabis Butter, 1/4 Teaspoon of Salt in a small saucepan until boiling.
Step 7: Remove from heat.
Step 8: Add milk to saucepan. Stir in potato flakes with fork until potatoes are desired consistency.
Recipe for Stuffing-Stuffed Egg Rolls:
Step 9: Position egg roll wrapper so that it appears as a diamond in front of you. Scoop a tablespoon of mashed potatoes and a handful of stuffing & turkey mixture on the bottom center of the egg roll wrapper. Roll the egg roll wrapper, tucking in sides. Take a tablespoon of the beaten egg and spread it on the top 1/3rd of the egg roll to seal the egg roll wrapper. Repeat process until all the egg rolls are made.
Step 10: Add canola oil to a large frying pan on high heat.
Step 11: Once the oil is boiling and using tongs, place several egg rolls in the frying pan. After a minute flip egg rolls. Cook until golden brown then remove and place on a plate. Blot with paper towels.
Step 12: Remove cranberries from corn and stir into a medium sized bowl.
Dip egg rolls into cranberries and enjoy!
